Every year I choose a race to run and raise money throughout the month of October.
With the money raised I purchase individual care and comfort items that I feel patients may need or want on their journey and place them in large baskets. These baskets are then donated to local cancer centers!! Any additional funds are donated to METAVIVOR (100% of their funding goes toward research for stage 4 breast cancer).
